Holy Saturday

An Easter-eve liturgy and parish preparation event held at st-johns-portsmouth.

• Date & Time: Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM EDT.
• Location: 424 Washington Street, Portsmouth, VA (campus of st-johns-portsmouth).
• Liturgy: A brief morning service observing how Jesus' body lay dead in the tomb and his visitation to the dead to share the Good News.
• Easter Preparation: Following worship, volunteers are invited to spend up to two hours preparing the sanctuary and Chisholm Hall for Easter celebrations. Decorating tasks include both flower arranging and non-floral setup.
