Palm Sunday, also called Passion Sunday, is the first day of Holy Week and the Sunday before Easter. It both commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem as well as his execution at the hands of religious and civic authorities.
Worship on Sunday, 3/29, at 8am or 10am for St. John’s Palm Sunday celebration. We will also livestream the 10am liturgy on our Facebook page.
It is appropriate to save your blessed palms behind a cross or other special spot in your home until 2027 when we will ask you to return them to burn on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday.
